Saving Issues¶
Resolving issues when photos or videos won't save.
Symptoms¶
- Captured but not in gallery
- "Save failed" message
- Stuck while saving
- Saving very slow

Solutions¶
Step 1: Check Storage Space¶
- Device Settings > Storage
- Check remaining space
- Free up space if insufficient
Insufficient Space
Photos won't save if storage space is insufficient. Maintain at least 500MB of free space.

Step 2: Check Storage Permission¶
- Device Settings > Apps > WorkCam
- Permissions tab
- Check Storage or Files and Media permission
- Set to Allow

Step 3: Check Storage Location¶
- WorkCam Settings > Storage
- Check Storage Location
- If SD card is selected:
- Is SD card properly inserted?
- Is SD card damaged?
- Try changing to internal storage

Step 4: Restart App¶
- Completely close app
- Relaunch
- Test capture
Step 5: Clear Cache¶
- Device Settings > Apps > WorkCam
- Storage > Clear Cache
- Relaunch app
Specific Issues¶
Captured but Not in Gallery¶
Not Showing in Gallery
- Check gallery filters (may be showing specific category only)
- Select All category
- Sort by newest
- Restart app and check again

Only Videos Won't Save¶
Video Save Failed
Videos are large, so:
- Check sufficient storage space (consider video size)
- Check SD card write speed (may fail if slow)
- Try lowering video resolution
- Change to internal storage

"Save Failed" Error¶

- Check storage space
- Check if storage location is accessible
- Check SD card status
- Restart app
- Change storage location
Saving is Very Slow¶
Slow Saving
- Check resolution/quality settings (too high = slow)
- Slows down when storage space is low
- Change from SD card to internal storage
- Close background apps

SD Card Issues¶
Check SD Card¶
- Is SD card properly inserted?
- Is SD card damaged?
- Is write protection enabled on SD card?

SD Card Resolution¶
- Remove and reinsert SD card
- Restart device
- If problem persists, change to internal storage
- Format SD card (backup data first)

Prevention¶
- Regularly check storage space
- Auto backup with cloud sync
- Use high-speed SD card (Class 10 or higher)
- Regularly clean up unnecessary files
