App Startup Issues¶
Resolving issues when the app won't launch or crashes on startup.
Symptoms¶
- App doesn't launch when tapping icon
- Stuck on loading screen
- Closes immediately after starting
- "App has stopped" message

Solutions¶
Step 1: Force Close and Restart App¶
- Open recent apps list
- Swipe up on WorkCam to close
- Wait a moment (10 seconds)
- Relaunch the app

Step 2: Restart Device¶
- Long press device power button
- Select Restart or Reboot
- Launch app after device restarts

Step 3: Clear App Cache¶
- Open device Settings
- Go to Apps or Application Manager
- Select WorkCam
- Go to Storage
- Tap Clear Cache

Step 4: Update App¶
- Open Play Store / App Store
- Search "WorkCam"
- Tap Update button if available

Step 5: Check Storage Space¶
The app may not launch if storage space is insufficient.
- Device Settings > Storage
- Check remaining space
- Recommend at least 500MB free

Step 6: Clear App Data (Caution)¶
Data Loss
This method deletes app data. First confirm that cloud sync is complete.
- Device Settings > Apps > WorkCam
- Storage
- Clear Data or Clear Storage
- Relaunch app (initial setup required)

Step 7: Reinstall App¶
If all above methods fail:
Before Reinstalling
- Confirm cloud sync is complete
- Or backup data to PC
- Delete the app
- Reinstall from Play Store / App Store
- Connect to cloud to restore data

Specific Situations¶
Issues After Update¶
A recent update may be the cause.
- Contact development team
- Or rollback to previous version (APK required)

Issues Only on Specific Device¶
May be a device compatibility issue.
- Check device model
- Check if OS version is current
- Contact development team with device information
Screen Stuck on Black¶
- Force close app
- Reset graphics-related settings
- Restart device
- Reinstall app if persists

Prevention¶
- Regularly update the app
- Maintain free storage space
- Enable cloud sync (data protection)
