This guide explains privacy protection and security settings.
App Lock¶
Setting Up App Lock¶
Set up a lock for the WorkCam app.
- Settings > Privacy > App lock
- Select lock method:

| PIN | 4-6 digit number |
| Pattern | Draw a pattern |
| Fingerprint | Fingerprint recognition (supported devices) |
| Face | Face recognition (supported devices) |
Lock Timing¶
When app lock activates:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Immediately | Lock immediately when switching apps |
| After 1 minute | After 1 minute of inactivity |
| After 5 minutes | After 5 minutes of inactivity |
Unlocking¶
Unlock using your configured method.
Note
If you forget your PIN/pattern, you may need to reinstall the app.
Location Data Management¶
Location Permission¶
App location access permission:
| Option | Description |

| Always allow | Including in background |
| While using app | Only when app is running |
| Deny | No location access |
GPS Recording Settings¶
Whether to record GPS when capturing:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Always record | Include GPS in all captures |
| Selective | Choose when capturing |
| Do not record | Do not record GPS |
Deleting Location Data¶
Delete location data from existing media:
- Settings > Privacy > Delete location data
- Select target (All/Selected)
- Tap Delete
Cannot Be Undone
Deleted location data cannot be recovered.
Data Management¶
Deleting Data¶
Options to delete app data:

Delete All Data¶
Warning
When deleting all data:
- All media is deleted
- Categories/tags are deleted
- Settings are reset
- Cloud data is preserved
Export Privacy¶
Remove Location When Sharing¶
How to handle location data when sharing/exporting media:

Changing Permissions¶
To change permission settings:
- Device Settings > Apps > WorkCam
- Tap Permissions
- Set each permission to Allow/Deny
Or use shortcut in WorkCam Settings > Privacy > Permission management
