Scan Features¶
Guide to WorkCam's scanning features.
Supported Scan Features¶

Accessing Scan Mode¶
How to access scan mode from the camera screen:
- Open the camera screen
- Tap the Scan icon on the side of the screen
- Select your desired scan type
First-Time Use: ML Library Download
When using scan features for the first time, a one-time download of Google ML Kit libraries may be required. A download screen will appear and the library will be installed automatically. This enables accurate text and barcode recognition. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended for the initial download.
Using Scan Results¶
Scan results can be used in various ways:
- Save: Save as image to gallery
- Copy: Copy text or information to clipboard
- Share: Share to other apps
- Open: Open URLs, contacts, etc. directly
