Voice Memo

This guide explains how to add voice memos to media.

What is Voice Memo?

You can add voice recordings to media to more easily record situations.

Adding Voice Memo

Right After Capture

  1. Capture photo/video
  2. Tap Voice Memo () on the save screen
  3. Start recording
  4. Save after recording completes

Voice Memo Add Button After Capture

  1. Open media detail screen
  2. Tap the Edit () button
  3. Tap Voice Memo ()
  4. Proceed with recording
  5. Save

  2. Tap the Voice Memo area
  3. Playback starts

Editing Voice Memo

Re-record

  1. Edit > Voice Memo
  2. Tap Re-record
  3. Record new
  4. Replaces existing recording

Delete

  1. Edit > Voice Memo
  2. Tap Delete
  3. Confirm and delete

Recording Settings

Recording Quality

Can be configured in Settings > Voice Memo.

Option File Size Quality
High Large High quality
Normal Medium Adequate quality (default)
Low Small Low storage

Maximum Recording Time

Default maximum recording time: 5 minutes

Can be changed in settings:

  • 1 minute
  • 3 minutes
  • 5 minutes (default)
  • 10 minutes
  • Unlimited

Effective Voice Memos

Good Voice Memos

Before recording

  • Think about key content beforehand
  • Minimize background noise
  • Keep microphone close

During recording

  • Speak slowly and clearly
  • Key information first (location, condition, action, etc.)
  • Finish concisely

Example 1: Site Inspection

Voice Memo Example

"This is Building A 3rd floor hallway. A crack about 30cm long has been discovered on the ceiling. The crack width is about 2mm and appears to have grown since last week. There's risk of leaking during rain, so urgent repair is needed."

Example 2: Construction Record

Voice Memo Example

"1st floor lobby floor tile installation complete. Installation area approximately 50 square meters. Curing period of 48 hours required. Next work scheduled for Wednesday."
