Metadata¶
This guide explains how to view detailed information about media.
What is Metadata?¶
Various information contained in media is called metadata.

Using Metadata¶
Search¶
Search using metadata:
- Search by date
- Location-based search (map)
- Filter by tag
Organization¶
Organize media by checking metadata:
- Check file size for storage management
- Check capture date for organization
- Classify by site using location info
Exporting Metadata¶
Metadata options when exporting media:

Location info in external shares may cause privacy issues. Remove location info when needed before sharing.
