Checking Location Information

From Media Detail Screen

  1. Open media detail screen
  2. More (⋮) > Details
  3. Check Location Information section

Adding Location

You can add location to media without GPS information.

Method 1: Select on Map

Select Location on Map

  1. Open media detail screen
  2. Edit () > Add Location
  3. Map is displayed
  4. Tap desired location or drag marker
  5. Tap Confirm

Add Location Address Search

  1. Tap Search on Add Location screen
  2. Enter address or place name
  3. Select search result
  4. Tap Confirm

Method 3: Current Location

  1. Tap Current Location on Add Location screen
  2. Current GPS location is set
  3. Tap Confirm

Useful On-site

This is useful when adding location on-site to photos taken with GPS turned off.

Editing Location

You can modify existing location information.

How to Edit

Edit Location Screen

  1. Open media detail screen
  2. Edit () > Edit Location
  3. Select new location on map
  4. Tap Confirm

When Editing is Needed

Edit Examples

  • When GPS error makes location inaccurate
  • When indoor shooting got wrong location
  • When actual site location differs due to shooting while moving

Deleting Location

You can remove location information.

How to Delete

Delete Location Confirmation

  1. Open media detail screen
  2. Edit () > Delete Location
  3. Tap Delete in confirmation popup

When Deletion is Needed

Privacy

  • When privacy protection is needed
  • Remove location info before external sharing
  • Delete sensitive location information

Bulk Location Operations

Bulk Add Location

Add Location to Multiple Media

Add location at once to multiple media taken at the same location:

  1. Start Selection Mode in gallery
  2. Select media from same location
  3. More (⋮) > Add Location
  4. Select location
  5. Apply

Delete Location from Multiple Media

  1. Select media items
  2. More (⋮) > Delete Location
  3. Confirm for bulk deletion

Location Accuracy

GPS Accuracy

GPS accuracy during capture affects location information quality.

Situation Accuracy
Outdoor, clear day High (few meters)
Outdoor, cloudy Moderate (tens of meters)
Indoor Low (large error)
Underground Not available

Accuracy Improvement Tips

Improving GPS Accuracy

  • Wait briefly before shooting to stabilize GPS signal
  • Shoot outdoors
  • Avoid between tall buildings
  • Wi-Fi usage improves location accuracy

Export Location Options

When exporting/sharing media:

Option Description
Include Location Keep GPS information as-is
Remove Location Export without GPS information

Removing location information is recommended when sharing publicly.

Check

  1. On map screen, tap More (⋮)
  2. Select Media without location
  3. List of media without GPS information

Bulk Processing

Select media from the same site and add location at once:

  1. Select from media without location list
  2. Add Location
  3. Select location on map
  4. Apply in bulk
