Viewing Media by Location

Tapping Markers

Tap a marker on the map to view media at that location.

Single Media

Marker with only one media item:

Location Information

Displayed Information

Information Description
Address Address based on GPS coordinates
Coordinates Latitude, Longitude
Media Count Number of media at that location
Date Range Oldest to most recent capture date

Address Conversion

GPS coordinates are automatically converted to addresses.

Filtering by Location

View Only Media at Specific Location

  1. Tap marker on map
  2. Select View only this location's media
  3. Gallery displays only media from that location

View by Region

To view media in a specific region:

  1. Navigate the map to that region
  2. Zoom in appropriately
  3. Select View media in current area

Cluster Expansion

Auto Zoom

Tapping a cluster automatically zooms in to show individual markers.

Zoom Level

Clusters separate based on zoom level:

Zoom Level Display
Low Wide area as one cluster
High Separated into individual markers

Previous/Next Location

In list view:

  • Swipe up/down to select different locations
  • Or tap directly from the list

Go to Specific Location

Navigate to a specific location via search:

  1. Tap Search ()
  2. Enter address or place name
  3. Select result to navigate

Usage Examples

Example 1: Check Photos by Site

  1. Find specific site location on map
  2. Tap marker
  3. View all photos from that site

Example 2: Understand Work History

  1. View multiple site markers on map
  2. Check media count per location
  3. Identify which sites have the most captures

Example 3: Organize Media for Specific Region

  1. Navigate to the region on map
  2. Select media in that area
  3. Bulk add tags or change category
