Filtering¶
This guide explains how to filter media by category, tag, date, and other criteria.
What is Filtering?¶
Filtering allows you to display only media that matches specific conditions.
Examples
- View only "Construction site" category media
- View only media with "Urgent" tag
- View only media captured last week
Category Filter¶
Using Category Tabs¶
Tap the category tabs at the top of the gallery to filter.

Scrolling Category Tabs¶
If you have many categories, swipe left and right to see more categories.
Tag Filter¶
Opening Filter Screen¶
- Tap the Filter icon () at the top of gallery
- Or select More (:) > Filter
Selecting Tags¶
- Select desired tags in the Tags section
- Multiple tags can be selected
- Tap Apply
Multi-Tag Filter Options¶
When selecting multiple tags:

|---|---|---|
| Include All (AND) | Media that has all selected tags | "1st Floor" AND "Crack" |
| Include Any (OR) | Media that has at least one of selected tags | "1st Floor" OR "2nd Floor" |
Date Filter¶
Selecting Period¶
- Select the Date section in filter screen
- Choose a period option:

| Today | Media captured today |
| This Week | Media captured this week |
| This Month | Media captured this month |
| Custom | Specify start and end dates manually |
Custom Date Selection¶
- Tap Custom
- Select Start Date
- Select End Date
- Tap Apply
Media Type Filter¶
You can display only specific types of media.

| Photos | Show only photos |
| Videos | Show only videos |
| Documents | Show only document scans |
Combining Filters¶
You can apply multiple filters simultaneously.
Combination Example
- Category: "Construction site"
- Tag: "Urgent"
- Period: "This week"
-> Displays only construction site media with urgent tag captured this week
Clearing Filters¶
Clear Individual Filter¶
Tap the X button next to the active filter.
Clear All Filters¶
Tap Reset Filters or the All category.
Filter Status Display¶
When filters are applied:
- Applied filters displayed at top
- Filter icon shows indicator (dot or number)
- Result count displayed

Tips for Using Filters¶
Filter Usage
- When preparing reports: Use date + category filter to extract media for the period
- When tracking issues: Use tag filter to check specific issue media
- When organizing: Use media type filter to check only videos (storage management)
