Selection Mode

This guide explains how to select multiple media items for batch operations.

Starting Selection Mode

Method 1: Long Press

Long press on media in the gallery to start selection mode.

Method 2: From Menu

  1. Tap the More (:) button at the top
  2. Tap Select

Selecting Media

Individual Selection

In selection mode, tap media to select/deselect.

Selected Thumbnail

  • Selected media: Check mark displayed
  • Deselect: Tap again

Select All

Tap the Select All button to select all currently displayed media.

Range Selection

Range Selection

After selecting the first media, long press on the last media to select all media between them.

Exiting Selection Mode

Method 1: X Button

Tap the X button at the top left.

Method 2: Back Button

Press the device's Back button.

Batch Operations

You can perform the following operations on selected media.

Selection Mode Action Buttons

Add/Remove Tags ()

  1. Tap the Tag button
  2. Select tags to add or create new ones
  3. Tap Apply

Bulk Tagging

The same tags are added to all selected media.

Share ()

  1. Tap the Share button
  2. Select sharing method
  3. All selected media are shared

Delete ()

  1. Tap the Delete button
  2. Tap Delete in the confirmation popup

Caution

All selected media will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

More Options

Tap the More (:) button for additional operation options.

Change Category Bulk change category of selected media
Export Export selected media
Cloud Upload Upload to cloud

Selection Count Display

The number of currently selected media is displayed at the top.

Usage Examples

Example 1: Bulk Tag Same Site Photos

  1. Select site photos in gallery
  2. Tap the Tag button
  3. Select "Building A", "3rd Floor" tags
  4. Apply

Example 2: Share Photos for Report

  1. Select photos to include in report
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Select email app
  4. All photos are attached

Example 3: Delete Unnecessary Photos

  1. Select photos to delete
  2. Tap the Delete button
  3. Confirm and bulk delete

Tips

Efficient Selection

  • In date groups, tap the date header to select all for that date
  • Apply filters first, then select all for convenience
  • Use range selection to quickly select consecutive media
