How to Connect

Step 1: Add Service

  1. Settings > Cloud
  2. Tap + Add Service
  3. Select Nextcloud

Enter your Nextcloud server address.

HTTPS

Use https:// address for security.

Step 3: Login

  1. Nextcloud login page is displayed
  2. Enter username and password
  3. Tap Log In

Step 4: App Authorization

WorkCam wants to access your account

Allow?

       [Deny]    [Allow]

Tap Allow.

Connection Complete

Server Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Nextcloud 15 or higher
  • WebDAV enabled
  • Valid SSL certificate (HTTPS)

Recommendations

  • Latest Nextcloud version
  • Sufficient storage space
  • Stable internet connection

Common Server Setups

Self-Hosted

When running your own server:

  • Domain or IP address required
  • SSL certificate setup (Let's Encrypt free)
  • Port forwarding (for external access)

Hosting Service

Using a Nextcloud hosting provider:

  • No server management needed
  • Connect directly with provided address

Troubleshooting

Server Not Found

  • Check server address (check for typos)
  • Include https:// or http://
  • Verify internet connection

App Password

When using two-factor authentication, app password is required:

  1. Nextcloud web > Settings > Security
  2. Create new app password
  3. Log in to WorkCam with generated password
